Currently the company has operations in southern Chile, mainly in 10th and 11th regions. In the freshwater area, Yadran has recirculation fish farming able to execute four annual cycles of one million eggs equipped with modern equipment to monitor environmental variables with automatic feeding systems. In addition, a second open flow of fish is able to provide four batches of 650,000 smolts per year. It is also equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring systems.

 

The feeding centers are equipped with a 160-ton pontoon with accommodations for 11 people. They are implemented with automatic feeding systems and a control connected to two underwater cameras for the monitoring of fish in real time. These cameras are placed on each 30x30 cage, distributed in two sets of 12 units each. The average weight of fish is continuously monitored with machines capable of estimating biomass while the fish swim freely in the cage.


Production and processes operations are centralized in our plant located in Quellón, Chiloé Island. The plant, opened in 2005, is one of the most modern plants in Latin America, and has the facilities and the capacity to produce 80,000 tonnes per annum and a range of high quality products. Able to satisfy the most demanding markets, it currently is run by of approximately 580 people organized in two shifts and has a storage capacity equivalent to 600 tons of finished product.
