New regulations, to be enforced during 2009, have generated the concept of neighbourhoods for the Salmon Industry in the 10th and 11th regions. These are areas based on oceanographic studies that allow a common health management. Some basic standards will be defined for each of these districts and also a common pattern of work may be arranged between members of a particular neighbourhood. In the case of authorized concessions, Yadran appears in 10 different neighbourhoods, which gives it great flexibility and strength for the future.
